Between the first sitting and the second, I will have roughly composed the portrait and will have blocked in the important large passages. Progress is reviewed with the subject and feedback is welcomed. In this session I will begin to address issues of likeness and gradually work from generalities to specifics. This sitting, like all others, will be a relaxed experience, with frequent breaks. There will be no need for rigid posing, but a need for holding a general pose with moments from time to time to hold a particular expression or gesture. The idea is for the sitting to be pleasant and comfortable.
Total time for this sitting is approximately 3 hours.
